These filters are designed to be likely to already occur in valid submissions and valid questions, trivial to include, and unlikely to be in true spam. Simply include either the word 'commodore' or 'comp.binaries.cbm' in the *BODY* or *SUBJECT LINE* of your submission, and the autofilter will allow it through. (Obviously, having a Newsgroups: header with comp.binaries.cbm in it is not sufficient.) That's all that's needed. This is only a pre-filter; your post must still be checked before it is formally approved. This filter will also auto-*reject* Newsgroups: that contain groups other than comp.binaries.cbm. Please do not crosspost here. This will hopefully filter out people who post to alt.binaries.* and comp.binaries.cbm simultaneously in bulk, as this seriously overwhelms moderator mail boxes. All approval and/or rejection of posts is silent. Announcements on the new filter policy will continue roughly weekly until it is implemented, and will also appear in the regularly posted mini-FAQ, on the web page and in the formal FAQ (approval pending for comp.answers). If you believe the filter is not operating correctly, you may mail me using the address in the headers. Thank you for putting up with the inconvenience.
